PERAN UANG ELEKTRONIK BAGI KEBERLANJUTAN EKONOMI KREATIF DI INDONESIA

Abstract

The development of financial technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. has encouraged various innovations in Indonesia, including the use of chip or server-based electronic money as a means of payment. This has led to an increase in digital transactions in Indonesia. The use of electronic money also has an impact on the sustainable development of the creative economy in Indonesia. Through this study, researchers examine the role and benefits of using electronic money for the sustainability of the creative economy in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research using the literature review method. The nature of this research is descriptive analysis, namely the regular breakdown of the data that has been obtained, then given an understanding and explanation so that it can be well understood by the reader. The results of the studies that have been carried out are the role of electronics in the
sustainability of the creative economy in Indonesia, namely as a means of payment in the micro (small) segment, more effective and efficient, providing a high level of accuracy, ease of financial control, security in transactions.
